Risk of rain 12/16/2024 With that time in mind I'll see what stuff I have and will find the teleport but during that hunt I will make a note of boxes or the multichoice items and the cost to get them. The exception being the temple as I seem to find that to be a fairly easy map to fully clear for items. As you get more used to the class you play and knowledge of what the items are that call is made easier.Īs a general rule for me I tend to plan on triggering the teleport "rush" within 4-5 minutes of starting that particular level. Thanks a lot ! These tips are really, really nice.ĭeciding whether or not to wait and farm cash for a box is your call. But I can write down how I play this game in general. No matter how much we write here, you should find your own style. Originally posted by lyravega:Hello Mokuba. You will unlock some new characters just by playing the game, and you might find another character that just suits you better. Of course, this will not apply to the later levels.Īnyway, keep playing. Gold to XP ratio is just very low, and I consider the extra gold that is converted to XP just a waste. If I finish a level with the least amount of gold (after spending it, of course), I consider it a successful level. Money shrines, depends on how much in total you'd need for all of the chests you've seen while moving around, and how much you have in hand. I usually let them spawn on an area, kill as many as I can, then climb somewhere else and let them spawn there, that way there will be less clutter.Ībout the shrines, if you have good HP regeneration, always play the HP shrines. Those enemies that cannot jump are generally tall enough for you to still keep hitting them, and meanwhile, the enemies that can jump will come after you, and they'll be effectively separated. When you spawn the boss, try to move to an area (which is close to the teleporter) where you can climb something, or jump over something to "separate" the enemies from each other. If you go slow, even a simple enemy can take a lot of your time. If you go fast, and get a boss like "Imp Overlord", it may just be the end since you lack the item count. As far as I can tell, going fast may punish you, aswell as going slower. After getting enough gold, I go for the chests that are close to me, if a chest is very far away, that'll just come back as increased difficulty as you can expect.įor the first three levels, I try to stay below the 4th difficulty (5th bar slice on difficulty-meter) if I can. If there are a lot of chests, I farm a little before I activate the teleporter, if there are just a few chests, I just activate the teleporter once I hit around level 5-6. What I generally do is, try to buy/loot 1-2 survival items in the first level, while exploring the map to find the teleporter and looking for chests. Surviving can sometimes be dependant on the items that you get.
